This is a must have book for parents who want to connect with their children in a fun, thought provoking manner. The laughs you will share as you read each story aloud provides a fabulous bonding experience. The stories are short enough to hold a child's attention. The characters are memorable, beautifully illustrated and stimulate the imagination. Each story ends with a subtle yet impactful life lesson and provides an opportunity for you to discuss with your child their feelings about the story. The best aspect of this book is that it is unique in its ability to help you to create your own stories using 2 inanimate objects of your child's liking! What a great collaborative exercise that will bring you closer than ever to your child as they develop a love of reading! I highly recommend this book to all of my patients with children or as a gift to prospective parents.
